Carmel Area Democratic Women’s Luncheon Club with Jason Burnett former EPA Deputy Associate Administrator

The Carmel Area Democratic Women's Luncheon Club is proud to present Former Deputy Associate Administrator of the US EPA, Jason Kestrel Burnett

A Stanford graduate with a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters in Earth Systems, Jason Kestrel Burnett’s primary responsibilities as Deputy Associate were to advise the EPA Administrator on climate change issues. Mr. Burnett resigned from the EPA in June 2008 but most recently outlined in a publicly released letter to Senator Barbara Boxer several instances of White House interference with the agency's findings on how the Clean Air Act could be used to address greenhouse gases.

The meeting is Thursday, July 16th in the Poseidon Room of La Playa Hotel in Carmel – 11:30 am social hour, followed by lunch at noon.

Lunch is either the La Playa Cobb salad or a fresh fruit plate. Both lunch options include a luscious peach cobbler a la mode. Coffee and tea service are available at each table, along with freshly baked bread and butter. Lunch is $28 per person. Advance reservations are required for lunch.

Please note lunch preference when reserving – no last minute substitutions will be available (the item ordered is the item served).

Anyone who wishes to “audit” the meeting by joining us for the presentation without eating lunch is welcome to attend. Cost for auditing is $10 per person.

Reservations can be made by sending payment to CADWLC, Box 223003, Carmel, 93922

Reservations must be received by Monday, July 13th
