Can you help us save California?
Yes you can, if you help us send John Laird back to Sacramento. On Monday John declared his candidacy for State Senate District 15. If we elect him and Anna Caballero in SD 12, they will be able to break the gridlock in Sacramento that has brought our educational system to the brink of collapse and is threatening to close State Parks.
On Monday his campaign opened his campaign office for our area at the Center for Change in Monterey.
Here is what you can do help John win this special election:
1. Become John Laird's friend on his Facebook page.
2. Sign up on John Laird's campaign website where you can indicate whether you are willing to display a yard sign, be listed as a supporter, walk door-to-door or make phone calls for the campaign.
3. Then come and join us for a volunteer orientation at the Monterey Center for Change - 60 Bonifacio Plaza (click here for map):
Campaign Orientation for Volunteers:
- Thursday, May 13 at 5:30 - 6:30 pm - Sign Up Here
- Sunday, May 16 at 10:00 - 11:00 am - Sign Up Here
Daniel McCormick, Field Manager for Monterey County would love to hear from you if you can help with this campaign. So much is riding on this short and intensive campaign. Make sure your voice is heard! For more information about how you can help, give Daniel a call at 224-3633 or drop him an e-mail.
The 15th State Senate district goes from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties in the south to the Monterey Bay Area and southern Santa Clara County in the north. You can find a map here.
