Margaret-Anne Coppernoll
My name is Margaret-Anne Coppernoll. I was raised in San Bernardino County, California. I graduated cum laude with a B.A, degree from the University of San Diego. I received masters' degrees from the University of Montpellier (French Government fellow under the auspices of the Fulbright program), the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy,Tufts University, and U.C.L.A., and a Ph.D from the University of Southern California.
After my dear brother was killed in Vietnam, I joined the armed forces and recently retired as a full colonel from the United States Army. I graduated from the U.S. Army War College, and later taught at the United States Military Academy at West Point and Georgetown University. Since my retirement, I have served on the Monterey County Mental Health Commission snd the Marina Economic Development Commission. My combination of academic, military, and community experience will allow me to well serve the voters of Area 2 (Marina, CSUMB, Seaside Highlands) as their trustee of the Monterey Peninsula Community College District.
