Write In Dennis Morris for State Senate

On June 3, we need just 4,000 write-in votes for Dennis Morris in State Senate District 15. That will prevent Republican Abel Maldonado from running unchallenged in the November general election. Here's how to write in Dennis Morris on your ballot to make sure your vote counts:

Dennis Morris, candidate for 15th District State Senate

With your help we can get a true Democrat on the November ballot. To cast a write-in vote for him you'll need to take two simple steps. First, write in the name Dennis Morris on the blank line of your ballot under "State Senator 15th District". Second, connect the arrow next to that blank line. For your write-in vote to count, you must do both steps.

Dennis is an attorney and winery owner from Pismo Beach. When he saw that no Democrat was challenging incumbent Republican State Senator Abel Maldonado, he stepped up. Dennis is running a write-in campaign on the June ballot, so voters can vote for a Democrat in November.

Dennis Morris needs just 4,000 write-in votes in the June 3 election to become the Democratic nominee. But Abel Maldonado doesn't want voters to have a true Democrat on the ballot - so he filed as a write-in candidate himself in the Democratic primary (yes, you read that correctly) to try to stop Morris and prevent voters from having a choice in November. The Monterey County Democrats and the San Luis Obispo County Democrats have both endorsed Dennis Morris for the District 15 nomination.

For Morris to win his write-in campaign, he will also need your help contacting Democratic voters in the district. Please volunteer for a virtual phone bank - if you can help, please contact Doug Ambort at: .
